Is my raid 0 working?

Ok guys i did everything i was supposed too as for as setting up raid 0 on my computer. Now it shows that i have only 1 local disk which is (c which it should right since i am using raid 0......But it is only showing in the local disk that i have 461 gb of space left. Now shouldn't it be twice as much since i am using two 500 gig hard drives. Did i do something wrong or is this how raid 0 should be working on windows xp.

You did something wrong, for two 500Gig drives in RAID 0 you should have about 930Gig (formatted).

i know that what i thought i need to know what it could be grrrrrrrr.. here we go again. Please guys throw stuff at me to help me fix this.

It sounds like you have the drives in RAID 1 (mirrored) rather than RAID 0 (striped), but that's just a guess based on what you have posted here.

no i have it set to stripe, i just dont know why its not working. could it be something in my bios settings i am using the nvidia drivers could it be the sata ports i am connected to. Any more suggestions out there please help.
