It´s extremely irritating. I have winxp with sp2 and Mcafe firewall and Avast viruskiller installed + memoptimizer from tuneup utilities. I can´t figure out what it is, tried go through every wave file in C: but couldnt find it there..so I guess its from inside a program that I cant find starting it. Thanks for all the help Peter More about : random slot machine sound tigsounds a b 8 Security September 16, 2010 6:47:23 AM If I only had a nickle for every person that came here with problems after installing Avast... Look at those two useless programs and see if they have any tabs, or settings for internal sounds they make when an event happens. Maybe you can convince them to remain quiet.
