Hey guys,

I've been meaning to upgrade to 64bit Vista but haven't had the time to do some research on what's what these days. I dont think I can salvage much from my existing machine besides the HDs (150G Raptor X), Case, Optical Drive, and maybe the PSU (510W). So what CPU, Mobo, Ram & Video Cards would you recommend to give me the most bang for my buck on a $1000 budget. I have no preference in CPU maker and I dont care much about overclocking. My budget doesn't include the new 24" monitor or Vista OS. Any recommendations and/or suggestions is highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Also check to see if your games are supported with vista 64 bit, it still has some issues that need to be worked out. I went with 32 bit for now, just less bs to deal with, and it pushes all the games i wish to play without me having to mod them some way or fashion.
