New PC won't start.

I juust bought a new motherboard and CPU (XFX 780i mobo & Intel Q9450 CPU) and installed them in my computer.
Problem is that now when I press the power button, the fans start and a couple of lights come on inside (Including a red one and an orange one. Is that meant to happen?), but a second later it goes off.
If anyone has any suggestions of what the problem is, that'd be great.

Check to make sure all your cables are properly connected.

Which cables would have to be connected for the power to not auto-orf after a second?

Cpu fan plugged into the wrong socket for one.

Pretty sure, or so sure you went to the website, and checked what they had there, or opened the book and double checked? If not then the mobo doesnt sense it there, and a auto shutdown happens so as to not fry your processor, but this is one thing. I cant really give you a list, i dont own the mobo myself.
