Constant lagging every 3 min
Last response: in Windows Vista
As the title says. Today my lappy lags every 3 min or so when playing games. I tried defragging the hard disks.. I even formatted one, but still the lag is there. I don't have this problem before, I don't know how to troubleshoot it.
btw, do you think viruses are the problem? thanks for people who'll reply. Oh, and yes.. Please tell me if I'm on the wrong forum. I'm just new here.. Thanks in advance![:)]( ":)")

1. Have task manager running - when lag occurs, look at resources to see what is stealing CPU cycles. - May also check event viewer.
2. Virus /malware is always a possibility. Run you AV scans. & also try Malwarebytes free scanner, as it is very good at detection.
