I just installed OCZ SLI-Ready Dual Channel 2x2048MB PC6400 DDR2 from tiger direct, link :

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicat [...] =O261-8038

Im wondering how "SLI-Ready" memory is better than regular memory?

If I upgrade to a faster SLI-ready memory or perhaps just regular DDR2 memory, will it make a noticeable difference when playing games?

Also vista only rates the memory 5.1/5.9, where as my gpu and cpu are both at 5.9/5.9.

I'll wait for your reply :bounce:

Thanks!!

Here's my specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad q6700 @2.66 GHz
mobo: 680i SLI
Video: BFG 8800 GTS 640mb OC2
Memory: OCZ SLI-Ready Dual Channel 2x2048MB PC6400 DDR2

Read the FAQ:

WARNING: Some RAMs have SLI or CrossFire logo on them. Many people ask if they are the only RAMs which support SLI or Crossfire.
Well thats wrong, there are many RAMs which dont have SLI or CrossFire logo but you can use SLI or CrossFire with them without any problem.
