hi guys, just joined so hello to everyone!! :hello: :pt1cable:
i'm after some info...
i'm looking at getting an external h/d. (to save all my pics/music/software etc.)
looking at these:-

I'd suggest the Wester Digital. You might want to get a smaller external hard drive, if you need to bring it around a lot. Look for the Western Digital Passport Essentials on ebay.

thanks for the info, i have heard that WD are quality, i just wanted a second opinion (i don't want something that is only going to last 6 months!!)
do you/anyone have any info or knowledge with buffalo drives??
i haven't heard that much about them so i don't know what their quality is like!
