My Old build into AM2 territory failed the ECS KA3 MVP went to the way side and is now on top of my other motherboards that keep sinking further into the boneyard.
The the board freezes on LAN download or any thru-put to great causing the Notherbridge to melt your fingers if touched.
I am unsure why this is happening, even under windows load screen the motherboard hickups. Watching streaming video is glitchy online or CD. Basically it hickups most times when demand for the processor goes up.
I replaced the MoBo with a Asus M2N-MX SE+ and now I can download all I want without a black screen of death or frozen in time. Everthing is fine and dandy.
On removal I noticed some of the CAPs by the Proc socket have insufficient solder on the back and the inductors look like it has cold solder at best.
I will attempt to rework it soon and retest, if I can get it stable I will setup raid on it, and tranform it into a central host.
