Alright, well... I just got this PC... was a good deal..

Q6600 GO stock
2 Gig DDR2-800
EVGA Nvidia 780i SLI
and a EVGA 8800GT 512..

Anyways, I came across a XFX 8800GT 512.. I though might as well set it up as a SLI..
I set it up like it should, enabled it, and the nice little SLI pop up in the corner works fine..

So! I get PC Wizard 2008 and check out everything.. and to my surprise it says :

GPU Information :
Number of GPU : 2
Codename : G92
Revision : A2
Memory Type : GDDR3
GPU Frequency : 600 MHz
Shader Clock : 1512 MHz
Memory Frequency GPU : 900 MHz
Pixel Shader Version : 3.0

nForceware Configuration :
Standard 2D : GPU: 600 MHz - Memory: 900 MHz
3D Performance : GPU: 600 MHz - Memory: 900 MHz
ForceWare Version : 6.14.11.7516

GPU Configuration :
Technology SLi : No <<<<<<<<<< WHAT???
AA Mode : OFF
Frame Buffered : 3

So, I ran 3Dmark06 and I got a score of 13109... After that.. I disabled SLI and everything and tested it again... and it was something like 12000 whatever...

Can anyone give me some kind of insight to this? Should I just drop the XFX card? or ? I'm just a little confused.

Only problem I see is pc wizard isn't reporting SLI. Your 3dmark scores are normal for the default settings on a stock Q 6600. There is not much scaling at those settings in that test. Put it to work in some games with eye candy cranked and enjoy.
