Video resizing

i am currently running a hp pavilion dv9000 everything works great except for one small glitch, when ever im playing games and place my coursor over anything with a popout messege, it resizes the game video. i have googled for ideas and have come up empty handed, i have scanned for viruses, maliware, spyware, the hole 9 yards, i do work on computers and i have never came across this kind of problem. could it be adobe causeing the problem? im not sure what stronghold kingdoms uses as their interphase, but anything in firefox that uses adobe does this, as well as stronghold kingdoms, so its not a firefox only issue
