I run Vista and have an ATA HD, a 1 TB SATA hard drive, and am trying to add a 1.5 TB SATA HD for a total of three physical hard drives (all Seagates). All work fine but the third 1.5 TB drive is correctly recognized, sized, initialized, but I can never format it all the way. I can partition, re-size the partitions, and even format all but the final partition, regardless of its size. I even tried just one single partition and it got to 73% formated and then hung. This is my second 1.5 TB seagate I've tried (exchanged the 1st). Anyone know how to get this drive formatted?

It could be an issue with your motherboard, the SATA port you connected it to, or the cable you used. Try moving the hard disks around, plugging the one that won't format completely into a different port.
