Hi everyone,

I'm kind of stuck between these two kits.

The Swiftech H20-220 Compact http://www.swiftnets.com/products/h20-220-compact.asp

OR

The Swiftech H20-220 Ultima Plus Kit http://www.swiftnets.com/products/H20-220-APEX-ULTIMA.asp

The reason being is that the compact one will be more compatible with my case (Gigabyte iSolo 210)

and also with the Ultima Kit MY GPU's are blocking leaving very very little space for tubing to get to the pump located at the bottom.

So will the Compact one do a sufficient enough job.

Will it be enough for your setup? Let me ask you what your trying to cool first. The compact kit is pretty good for most users unless your a massive overclocker on a hot Quad. The pump and block that comes with it is a bit weak, but really not too bad. The pump can be modded and upgraded later when you want more. You will.

That said where are you planning to put the rad? Out back? Thats fine.

The Ultima plus kit has one of the top CPU blocks, even i7 users with massive overclocks use it. The pump is much more powerful and reliable than the basic pump. The rad is pretty much the same. It comes with a res that lets you place the rad where you want.

For the best cooling the Ultima kit is better, the basic kit is enough probably, depending on your usage.

Have you looked at many builds? I'm sure you can fit it with ingenuity, taking the lower HD rack out will give you room for the pump. We try to keep the pump as low as possible, with the res feeding the pump input.

OK well how about this?

I'll stick the res the highest possible I can in the drive bays (does it come with a sort of velcro attachment or similar?) and I'll stick the pump as far below it as I can, hopefully I'll try the bottom of the case and see if the tubes can reach past the gpu's.

And yes I am going to mount the rad in the back of the case.

Yea, thats fine, you'll see tons of examples in the links I sent ya.
Ya still didn't say what your trying to cool.

The res uses small nuts/bolts to mount to holes somewhere in your case. You can mount it however you like using your noggin to figure it out.

If you want to cool the GPU's too you WILL need a bigger rad or a second one. If multiple GPUs (new fast ones) you will probably need a second loop for the GPU's all by themself, and a loop for the CPU.

You'll learn a ton at the sites I gave ya.

But the setup your buying is fine for a CPU loop, no worries.

compact kit unless you are going to try crazy overclocking like me from time to time, because making a real good water cooling costs as much as a good netbook, here are my bill of materials.. so consider a basic kit or start one like mine that will last.

CPU BLOCK-----------Swiftech Apogee™ GTZ Universal CPU Waterblock ---------- 1 ITEM $69,95 -- $69,95
GPU BLOCK----------- EK Radeon HD4850 VGA Liquid Cooling Block - Acetal (EK-FC4850 CF Acetal)---------- 1 ITEM $97,48 -- $97,48
RADIATOR-------------Danger Den Black Ice GT Stealth 240 X-Flow Radiator - Red---------- 1 ITEM $53,93 -- $53,93
RADIATOR-------------MAGICOOL PRO II 240mm RADYATÖR ---------- 1 ITEM $40 -- $40
RESERVOIR----------- MAGICOOL  Magicool Silindirik Pleksi Sıvı Haznesi - 250mm ---------- 1 ITEM $29 -- $29

COOLANT----------- THERMALTAKE COOLANT 1000CC ULTRA VIOLET COOLER ---------- 2 ITEMS $30 -- $60

GR.TOTAL $647,28

Of course i did not buy these all together but over a period of time. However I would think again and again to spend this much on water cooling If I knew it would end up this much. I don't regret it I get max 65C degrees on 4.00GHZ with 1,6vcore volt on load.

and below is how it looks after.

Looks like you have some kinks where your tubing enters/exits your res at the top. That MCP655 pump is a beast, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's causing your tubing to collapse if its just regular vinyl tubing. You might want to go with either the reinforced tubing at the hardware store (the stuff with the cross-hatching fibers) or go with some Tygon or Feser with more flex and thicker walls.

Hmmmm I am worried now, Do u think my tubing can fail, the tubes are some german brand, i am not at home now but "made in germany" text stayed in my head somehow( I admire german technology.. refferance Ultimate German Tech.

It will be extremely hard to find tygon or feser tubing here in istanbul, so i might end up using some tubing for gardening or sth..Thanks for this information.
