My computer wouldnt detect my external hdd so i tried som things. I think I might have created a partition on the primary part. So I did a superscan of my primary disk (my extern harddrive contains of this and an extended partition, which i've recovered). Now it shows 14 partitions and I cant recover a single one, I get the message: It overlaps with other partitions. I cant delete anyone of these either... Help?

Btw I can see all maps and files it contains so I guess it should br possible to recover.

Thank you sooo much!!

The Active FILE Recovery wasnt able to detect my disk but earlier I had created a Disk Image with Active PARTITION Recovery, which I was able to open with File Recovery and recover my data :D

Cheers

Next time you might be able to remove the drive from the enclosure and hook it up directly to the computer. It would bypass any enclosure problems.

I think maybe there are something wrong in the DBR. It could be recovered I think. Last year my computer met the similar problem as yours.
Data Recovery Wizard helped me to recover. I hope it will also help you.
