Having looked thoroughly and becoming extremely confused what's your opinion on my current memory.
I fitted x2 2gig ddr2 modules into the mobo and they were detected and are running fine, my dilemma is do you recommend leaving the settings in bios on automatic as it currently is or manually setting them to the manufacturers specification on the modules which are 5-5-5-18 and 2.1v.
Here is a screenshot of CPUZ currently showing all the necessary info, do I leave as is or manually add the values

The SPD is the wrong tab to look at if you want what the ram is running at. The memory tab is the right tab. By default, the ram will run at half the CPU FSB. If you want your 800mhz ram to run at or near 800mhz:

800 / 333 = ~2.4

Set your cpu/ram ratio to 2.4/2.5 or 1:2.5 if possible. Do memtest for stability.

Thanks for the response, the ram Installed is PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Reaper HPC Dual Channel DDR2, I haven't a clue on the numbers you stated above but in my bios the CPU ratios only have options of 06.0/07.0/08.0 or 09.0 so I don't know how to set it to 2.4 or 2.5 etc.
