I'm having issues with the following.
A friend was having issues with his CD/DVD drive (Laptop), i looked for latest firmware and everything and didn't work. So we did a reformat using the Factory CD... and it worked fine, no problems reading the media whatsoever. But the first time we got into windows the problem was still there, we tried several media and won't read it which is kinda odd since we just reformatted using the Factory CD.
So i'm out of ideas? is it a hardware issue?
