Sorry I don't really know , I haven't built a PC in 5 years..

but...

Prepair for a Flame War and to be told several times to build an Intel system.

But anywho..

What will you use the PC for? Games video encoding etc..?

Will you OC?

What monitor res do you use for games?

what OS do you have for it?

Just some question that people will need to know in order to help you..

Do the Graphic Cards need to be "Actual ATI" cards, or can they be produced by another company such as "MSI" or "Gigabyte"?

I could not find any official "AMD" mobos, but a number with an AMD Chipset. Is that acceptable?

I don't think AMD sells DDR2 Chips, We can use something like "GEIL", "Corsair", etc... Correct?

new chipset = 790GX/SB750 - mobos releasing in approx 2 weeks
current chipset = 790FX/SB600
= will handle any AMD cpu you prefer

video ATI 4850 or 2x 4850 in Crossfire
OR ATI 4870

ram - 4Gigs = 2x2048 ddr2 dual channel (800mhz) (or fa$ter)
