so i ordered and put together a system using the cm690

too big, too loud, panels not aligned, gaps. spring tension bars keep falling off when adding/removing devices

looking for quiet, must accommodate 3 hdd, 4 dvd bays

I love my CM 690!!

Well I guess we all have different taste. If you want quite, an antec p182 is always good. But I think its the same size of the 690. Maybe a NZXT Hush?

What's your budget ? If you got a good budget I would take a look at the Silverstone or Lian Li product lines. The P 182 is a good option as mentioned.

i had looked at a antec p182 in the store neither myself or the guy in the store could figure out how you were suppose to secure the drives in that top pull out drawer piece. the bottom one clearly had either a quick release or screw holes. while the top one had neither.

your other suggestion is a possible, tanks

the p182 has quiet hard drive suspension for installation read this
