Looks like AMD doesn't want Intel to own Ray-Tracing games.

That would be pretty impressive, to do real-time ray tracing of that entire scene.

Also, CGI can mean any kind of imagery created within a computer. Doesn't have to be production quality or realistic. So stop using it to describe movie quality effects.

Then we can conclude one thing: ATI has better tech demos than Nvidia :)

Holy Macaroni! Better tech demo indeed - That tech is major leap forward in photorealism. I'd like to see more please....

It really does look great, but there isn't all that much animation or effects going on in that scene; so you have to wonder about the real performance.

All the same the visuals are awesome.

CGi has become the word that means movie quality effects, most people do not think of "CGI" to be regular video games. go with the flow.

They pretty much always have, going back to the R8500 days.

Toy Shop was just incredible for it's time X1K, still pretty impressive although the new HD4K one would put it to shame, but even the Ruby double cross was pretty sweet for the X800.

The only 'meh' one was the HD3K Ping Pong one IMO.

The major thing nV had was Dawn and Dusk which were more titilating, but not as iimpressive.
