my question is about the fan connections with the GA-X48-DQ6 mb. the mb has 2 4-pins connectors: cpu_fan and sys_fan2; and 3 3-pins connectors: pwr_fan, sys_fan1, and nb_fan.
1. with the 900 having 4 fans included, which fans goes with which connectors or does it matter? i know the cpu_fan is for the fan on the cpu heatsink.
2. with only one connection that has speed control, how do i control the other fans?
Connect the cpu fan to a 4pin and the rest doesn't matter, but preferable the 3pin BUT if the case fan has PWM support, it's better to have it to a 4pin.
Edit: there should be fan controls in the BIOS. Nb_fan stands for northbridge fan. It's the chip just south east of the cpu but yours is probably passive so you don't need to use it
