Is there a driver available for a canon scanner--canoscan LIDE 30 for windows vista?

Okay...I have downloaded the file, located it, and ran it to extract the data to C:\SCANO but when I try to use those files to install the drivers Windows Vista acts like I am asking it to conquer the world...then fails to install anything.
