Hi everybody,

I was looking to use an OCZ Vertex 30GB to boot openSUSE 11.1 off of with two WD 300GB Raptors in a RAID 1 for the majority of file and application storage. How do I do this? Do I need to partition the filesystems specifically, and if so how?

I am familiar with the Linux hierarchy but am unsure exactly how to work this.

Thanks

Not familiar with the details, but are you sure you want to place your boot into a RAID array? I'd prefer to keep it on a non-RAID drive, so that you won't place your system's ability to start up on a less reliable array.
