1Tb external hard drive has stopped loading/working on my laptop

Hello,
my hard drive was working fine one minute then it stopped and I haven't been able to load it onto my LT since! is there anyway I can access the data on it as every picture I have of my son is on it and I really want to get them back!!??

Does it work on another computer ? - Tried a different USB Port or cable USB ?

Couple of things could be the problem.
1 - The drive died - (Hope not)
2 - The circuit card inside the enclosure went bad. - Try the drive in another enclosure, or remove the drive an hook it up as a secondary internal drive in a pc.
