Have you tried a PS2 keyboard and mouse?

You can access System Restore on boot, by booting into Safe Mode, using the F8 key after POST. The First screen on boot to Safe Mode shows selection box to open into Safe Mode or to use System Restore.

Try booting into safe mode with command prompt. At the command line, type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe. This will open the restore points.
