Hello !

I've just got my new custom built computer, it's light years above my previous amd 4000 / 7800 gt.

e7200 2.53ghz /3meg cach
asus 384 meg 8800 GS

what I want to know is:
can anyone suggest a driver? at the moment I'm running on the stock drivers.

The gpu is 42 degrees when idle, speeds are default: engine:550/memory:1600/shader:1375

What healthy/stable overclocked frequencies can you guys suggest?

Looking forward to your replies. :)

And a 8800GS will do in the high 600s/ low 700's easy, just keep the fan on high

There is a guy called Marvelous211 on these forums and he has a good OC on his GS it would be worth your time searching out a thread he did about it, there wasnt amy reviews at the time for the card so he did his own.
If i can find it i will link you to it, these searches can be a pain sometimes and i know what im looking for.

I can get my card to 756/1836/2120

I leave it @ 729/1728/1044 for everyday use with variable fan fan speeds. :) Usually stay 50% at most when gaming.

No I let rivatuner to the overclocking every time I start my computer. EVGA covers warranty so if it breaks it's still covered. :)
