2 possible (and almost identical) builds in one thread!

So, I am trying to decide between these 2 builds. The basic question is whether the cost increase in build 2 is worth it. Thanks for the advice! And thanks to the people in couple other threads who already gave.

Common Items:

Case: Antec P182 Mid Tower

PSU: Corsair HX620W

Processor: Intel e8400

Memory: (2) OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) (8 gig total)

Hard Drives: (2) Seagate ES.2 250GB (Raid 0)

Cooler: XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 120mm

Build 1 (cheaper):

Motherboard: Asus PK5-E P35

Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce 8800GTS (G92) KO 512MB

Build 2 (pricier):

Motherboard: EVGA nForce 750i FTW SLI

Graphics Card: (2) EVGA GeForce 8800GT Superclocked 512MB

get a quad core for your 2nd build..likely a q6600 or a q6700. it will be much better

Will be a gaming computer, and I plan to OC the cpu a lot. Goina stick with the e8400.

What resolution do you use? SLI doesn't really help all that much unless you're using a high resolution like 1920x1200.

I'd probably go with the P35 and the 8800GTS (G92) myself unless you need to drive a high resolution monitor.

To be honest build 1 makes just more sense to me. And yeah I second that stick with e8400 over quad.

Resolution is never lower than 1600 x 1200.
