Hi all,

I have a SMC SMCWBR14S-N2
Barricadeā„¢ N Wireless Broadband Router
and I configured it properly I think...
I connected my PC to the router with the USB attached to the router...
Everything seemed to work, both PCs see each other. I could copy data from one to the other.
My PC's running Win Vista and the router's PC runs Win XP.
The problem is that, when I tried to play multiplayer games (Unreal Tournament 3) on the PCs I started a local server but the other PC didn't see it so I couldn't connect to it. I tried other games like Counter Strike 1.6 and Call of Duty 4 but noone of the worked. I'm using the WPA2 encryption because I'm close to a WAN point and I don't want my PCs to get hacked. So what do you think what can be the problem?

Thanks in advance,
Tom Martin

Have you tried connecting to the router with an Ethernet cable instead of the USB connection?

But I've got a wireless USB adapter...
