I'm hoping to build a new system at the end of the month, and I'd really like to have dual display (2x 24" ) (I do development, image editing, and video editing, so the space is handy)

However I want to be able to playback full HD, and play games, so I will be going for an SLI setup. Am I right in thinking I have to use both DVI connectors on a card together to play back HD on a single monitor? If this is the case, am I able to use the 2nd graphics card for the 2nd monitor, or does the SLI setup render its outputs redundant?
