Recommendations for a cpu fan for DFI LanParty DK X38-T2R

Does anybody have any recommendations for a cpu fan for this board. I've tried the XIGMATEK S1283 but it's too big, and I am a big newb so I need the help.

When you say the cpu heatsink is too big do you mean it is too tall and will not fit in your case or do you mean parts on your motherboard are in the way?
