If you have two GPUs and the mobo that does not contain SLI technology

Hi, just have a quick question.
If you have two GPUs and the mobo that does not contain SLI technology, can you still get a better gaming performance than when you have one GPU? Or has anyone tried this?

No. the game will only use 1 gpu to render it's games. The other gpu will only allow you to run additional monitors on the desktop
