Whenever I power on (or restart) my PC...the motherboard goes BEEP and asks me whether I want to continue (by pressing F1) or enter setup (by pressing DEL)...
It won't boot up unless I press either...

is there any way I can get rid of that BEEP sound and make the BIOS stop asking me what I want to do?
I've never had an nvidia motherboard before....so I have no clue if this is how it's supposed to be...

You need to enter bios and save & exit at least once since purchase or else you'll see this screen over & over.

Do your bios settings stick? If not, the battery may have died. Also, you may have to set up memory settings cuz auto detect may cause that screen to show up.
