I have a geforce 2 gts and abit ktza-raid mobo and can
only choose 640X480 or 1600X1200 rez

I cannot for the life of me use any driver after 6.35 to
use resolutions 800X600, 1024X768, 1280X1024. im
desperatly trying to use the detonator 4 drivers from
nvidia. i cant even use guillemonts display drivers after
6.35. I have tried every setting on my mobo, flashed my
mobo, have all the latest drivers, have formatted for the
3rd time today trying to start fresh. i can use all the
standard settings using the 6.35 drivers. i have also
tried various res programs and they wont allow me to add
more resolutions besides those 2.

Hercules hasnt been helpful at all, they alway make me
call them back then i have to start over. ive looked
EVERYWHERE for info on this error but I cant find any solutions.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

ok, well i had been using win ME, but i formatted again
and am now using 98SE, still having the same problem. i
even tried 12.41 drivers and they do the same thing.

I also tried adjusting my refresh rate, and it fails every
time i try to change it from Optimal.

I have a gateway EV910 monitor, and have the most recent
monitor .inf files.

i tried knocking my 4X AGP down to 2X.

when i install the drivers, it always sets it to 800X600X16
with the option of using 640 or 1600 in 16bit or 32bit.
after i change it to either 640 or 1600 I no longer get
access to 800X600 at all.

ive tried installing the drivers before anything else, and
ive tried after everything else.

i am Completely out of ideas now.
