Asus P5E x38
2x2gb apogee 1066mgz
2x Radeon HD4870 in cf
Zalman 9700LED cpu cooler
+ one HD and one optic drive

= ???

I dont want nor need anything over the top, from my calculations i need about 700W power supply since i will be overclocking. Pls post some good models, and keep in mind i need 4 x 6 pin connectors for my 4870's ...

500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and four 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

Yup, a 700W+ would be a safe bet, considering you're overclocking.

650W is enough but 700W+ is safer.

$99 - Corsair TX 750W ATX 12V Power Supply - CMPSU-750TX

EDIT: I cant claim credit for that find. I saw it posted on Tom's earlier this week.

True. I like to always get the most i can afford with some future built in. a good PSU is money well spent. Never chase the newest fad, tech or hardware. get what you can afford.
