I have a Sony KV-36XBR450 set and I need an easy (and cheap) way to adjust
the vertical so that I can see all of the crawl at the bottom of the screen
About half the crawl is cut off.
Any ideas.

TIA

Not sure what you mean by crawl, but if you cannot see text or something
scrolling across the bottom of the screen, whatever source or sizing
(zoom?) you are using is overscanned. My LCD display overscans if using
component, but is pixel perfect with VGA or DVI input. So if you are
using component, maybe it would be better with HDMI or DVI, unless your
set has adjustments for overscan.

Thanks for the info. Only have component. Crawl is horizontal scrolling; I
couldn't think of the right words. The set just came back from the shop and
they must have fixed it cuz it's all right now. Thanks again.

If it's got tits, tires, tubes, or transistors, it's trouble.

It is a "crawl" that moves along the bottom of the screen. A "scroll" is
when the words move up and down -- as if you were holding an actual scroll
in front of you and turning the winders (what's the word for them?) to make
the words move up or down.
