More Information

Hey Guys, I am thinking of upgrading my memory and have a small question abt it. I currently have 2 GB of wintec ampX memory sticks( 2 x 1 GB). I'm thinking of buying 2 more 1 GB sticks. Before i ordered i looked at the memory timings in the cpu-z software and it reported my memory timings as 5-5-5-13. Now the ones i'm interested in buying( at newegg) have memory timings of 5-5-5-12 and 5-5-5-15 respectively. They have a different cycle time( tRAS: 12 and 15 as opposed to 13 ) than my current rig. Is that going to be a problem and can i have memory sticks with different tRAS times. Also i have overclocked my q6600 from 2.4 to 3.2 Ghz and as such have my memory running at ~355Mhz currently. So are there any precautions i should be taking before adding the new RAM( assuming i'll be buying)? Thanks a lot in advance.
