I would like to make my USB HDD bootable to DOS and Acronis. (Acronis is a linux based drive image utility). Is there a way to do this?

I don't care about make a bootable thumb drive - I want the HDD to be multi-bootable. It sure would make backing-up/restoring my PCs easier than having to boot from a CD and then access the external HDD.

Thanks

Well, so long as your computer can boot through USB, I think you can create a partition for each OS you'll use, install the OS on each, then boot as needed.
