XP Pro to replace Vista

Can this be done with a legal copy of XP Pro - can it be installed, what about the drivers, etc if it can be done?

Yes, as long as there is XP driver support for your hardware.

You simply need to boot off the XP disc to start the format/install process.

I suppose I could try and see what happens I have the disc to put if back as it was when I started, how I HATE Vista and will get 7 one of these days but have the XP pro and I KNOW it is at least a lot heartier than Vista how it sucks?
