Hi i have a Motherboard that supports up to DDR2667

I'm looking at the Corsair XMS2 2gb which is PC-6400:TWIN2X2048-6400PRO

So will PC-6400(DDR2800) work on my MB? DDR2667??
Will it make the PC-6400 run at DDR2 677 instead of DDR2800?
