Hi guys

I just got 1tb WD Green as my 7th HD. P5Q-Pro does not detect it. I tried with three functional power and data connections (in use by other HD drives). It seems that HD is not spinning as I cannot feel the vibration or heat. What could be the problem here - a bad HD or I am missing something. Thanks.

Did you just buy this? If so, it's probably a bad HD. You can also try the drive on another computer just to make sure, but I'd RMA it ASAP.

Are you saying you have a total of 7 hard drives in one computer? You should list the rest of your specs, especially the PSU, which could be overloaded.

I just bought it from ZZF and arrived yesterday. I suspect HD is bad, just wanted to be sure.

I have Antec 650W. PSU may not be an issue because new HD does not work even when it was the 6th drive (i.e. I disconnected an existing drive to test the new HD)
