Hi, I'm planning on getting a new computer soon and was wondering whether the parts are suitable or whether they should be changed. I'm also wondering what cooler I should get for the Asus Rampage II Extreme motherboard.

The parts are:

Case: Silverstone Raven case
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163135&Tpk=silverstone%20Raven%20case

Graphics: 2 Nvidia GTX 285s in SLI (still not sure which brand to get or what model)

Motherboard: Asus Rampage II Extreme
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131352

Processor: Intel i7 920,940 or the 965 (not entirely sure which one to get)

RAM: Probably either OCZ,Corsair or any good one with speeds about either 1600Mhz or 1866Mhz

Power Unit: Corsair HX1000W

Storage: Any good hard drives (planning on getting atleast 1TB with either 1 or through RAID)

Cooler: I need help on this one, as I'm not planning on getting water cooling so any air cooler would be fine as long as it can fit in my mobo. ( a good one obviously)

My budget is about 3.5k to4.5k the price doesn't really matter for me but I mainly need help on the RAM, cooler and which brand and model for the graphics cards I should get. And I'm planning on getting a 24 inch screen.

Well instead of the 2 GTX 285 in SLI, its better to go with GTX 260 n tri-SLI...both the config comes down to the same price... and the TRI- SLI will perform better than the 285 SLI...

Get 3 of tis...cheaper than the 285 SLI but more powerful...

But for ur 24" monitor, a single GTX 295 will be more than enuf....

or 2 of the above said 260 in SLI...

Thanks for the reply guys, but are you sure the coolers can fit on the motherboard ? I found the heatsink behind a possible block for the cooler. And I'm also planning on switching the cooler's fan for a blue LED one.

Tartar... If you want a case that has the best airflow that I have ever experienced and that will allow you the room to run any huge CPU cooler, well made and just plain gorgous. I recomend the Antec 900. I have so far built two rigs with this case and will no doubt, build more....

The motherboard is my main concern as its heatsinks behind the CPU socket are rather high, and I've run into problems with them before.
