Hey guys,

I was wondering if a ATI 3870X2 card would work on my SLI mobo.

The motherboard is: Asus P5N32-E SLI

The reason for this is that I know you can't run two seperate ATI cards in crossfire on an SLI motherboard,
but can you run an ATI X2 card on a SLI motherboard as it is a single card solution?

I am thinking of getting the 4870X2 when that comes out instead of the 3870X2.

Anyways any helpful advise would be appreciated.

hope there is no hit on the performance due to the fact that it's an SLI motherboard. I know Nvidia doesn't really like ATI hehehe.

What with them acquiring AGEIA PHYSX. It's a worry for all ATI users.
