More Information

When will we see the ability to "power down" discrete GPUs when not in heavy use on IGP AMD boards? It was supposed to be a main feature of the Hybrid Crossfire marketing scheme, though I have not seen this feature avaliable on the 780G chipset.

Also, when will ATI come out with a 780G equivalent for Intel chips. Right now it seems (at least to me) that ATI=AMD and Nvidia=Intel. I'm really liking the idea of using a 4870 with an Intel chip, using Hybrid Crossfire, and having that extra 150W drop off when not in use.
