the P5E is actually 75$ more expensive to me - and that's why i'm asking

P5Q Pro $150 does Crossfire at x8+x8, not so good.

Q6600 ($185) + GA-X48-DS4 or P5E Deluxe X48, $225, to do the job properly.

Or you can go with AMD Phenom 9850 ($205) and K9A2 Platinum ($150) and get your x16+x16 for less money.
