I am rebuilding my rig tonight and have decided to load vista instead of xp. I have 2 different sets of memory. I have 2x1gb 4-4-4-12 sticks, and 4 5-5-5-15 sticks. (2x1gb,2x512mb). The rest of my system consists of a c2 duo e7200(going to oc to at least 3ghz) biostar p43 mobo, and 9600gso video. Will I get better performance from the extra gig of ram? or better performance from the faster ram? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Get more RAM. You will be better off with the extra 1GB RAM than the faster timing.

I have to agree with shadow on this :)  More will always beat faster.
