Overclocking a Q8200 with 4 gig or DDR3 1333mhz ram.

i have just upgraded to the setup below and don't know why it won't overclock.

i had this at 2.8ghz:

Q8200 processor - stock at 2.3 ghz and locked multiplier at 7
Gigabyte P35C DS3R mobo bios F11
4 gig of ocz gold DDR2 800 6400 ram

sat happily no issues.

then i upgraded to 4 gig of Corasir DDR3 XMS3 1333mhz 10666ram.

tried to up the FSB and make timing at 2 on bios so it was 1:1 cpu:FSB but it keeps crashing.

anyone else managed to o'clock this setup?

DDR3 1333 will need to be OCed in order to raise the FSB past stock, but DDR2 800 will not be OCed until you raise the FSB past 400MHz. In order to OC the RAM, you will likely need to increase vDIMM.
