I'm unsure as to which one gives better performance; OCZSSD2-1SUM60G or SSDSA2MH080G2C1.

The specs for the Intel SSD say a write speed of 70 MB/s while the OCZ says a write speed of 120 MB/s, yet the OCZ is quite a bit cheaper at most sites.

Im planning to run Windows 7 off either of them so which would be better?

The Intel C2 is the best overall. The "70" is for seqencial Writes which is of lesser inportance. The 4K random read/writes are considerably higher. The Intel is the "Benchmark" for comparing other MLC SSDs. There are several comparisons.

That said - I bought the patriot Tarqx 128 (Not the M28) as it gave me 128 Gigs even though it is slower than the Intel. Whould have prefered the Intel 160 gig, but that would have been another $100. (Will edit post to a link to give you some insight)

The reason I opted for the 128 Gig was that this was going into a "cheap" laptop with a single HDD. If for my disktop, I would have gotten the Intel C2 as 80 gigs would have been plenty for my operating system (win 7 RC) and programs - Not into gaming.
