I've got a project going on where I have a set of 36V batteries with a Lot of amps. I have a 36V charger on it, but the tech on the charger is older then I am. (30+ years ; ) Anyway, I found a tripp lite that used 36V, but it was ~$1000. Can anyone think of a UPS that uses 36V DC batteries? Internal batteries are OK, I'll remove them and use my external ones.

Why would you want to buy a UPS, remove the batteries, and use your own?

What country are you in? Newegg has a Tripp Lite for around $340 after shipping

@BC, thanks for the link, but that is the external battery for the tripp lite that was ~1000. :)

@BC, I did some digging with that PN from your link and I found a couple that might work.

Using external batteries with a much higher capacity than the ones supplied with a UPS is not always a good idea as it can put a lot to stress on the charging circuitry in the UPS.
