Hey all, i have limited space in my room and Im looking to use my TV as a monitor when i work on friends computers. I know that the resolustion will be bad, but it will just be for working on computers. My TV takes Composite input(yellow cable) and S-video, and also coax. Im looking to convert VGA to one of those. Is there a easier way than buying a converter box? Thank you.

pretty much if you have a dedicated graphics card, there are chances that you have a s video. even my old nvidia 5200 has had the svideo, vga and dvi outputs in th back.

I use a cheap KVM switch like this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817107407

They also have one with audio

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817107418

Only need space for the computer and plug in the second KVM(A) port and away you go - no degraded video, or extra keyboard, mouse or speakers.
