1 core hotter than the rest..?

Ok I finally got my Uber Rig up and running 6gig 1066 Gskill q9400 @ 3.75 (500x7.5) VCore 1.445 5 drive raid 0 8800GTX <- old but still chompin away. Anyway running real temp 3.0 and I idle low 30's but on load core 1 is 63 max and core 234 are low 50's. Not that worried way far from TJmax but could this be thermal paste issue or does anyone have any ideas/run into this?

Those temps you said are when you load the cpu with what, prime95? Bear in mind that few apps use all cores and many still only use one, so that core will always be hotter than others.

its a common 'problem'
you can always dole out jobs to other cores as you wish using the affinity settings in task manager.
