Hello,

So, I have some big problems with my X48-DQ6. I have 4 memory sticks Corsair Twin2X PC6400 CAS4 on 2GB each, 8GB in total and my motherboard just refuses to boot with this memory. I have tried setting +0.3V to the DDR voltage and been trying to tweak the MCH settings all the way up to +0.3 but I really just can't seem to get it to work. Has anyone got this to work, and if so, with what settings?

Very grateful for help.

Best Regards,
David N

You might want to go the the Corsair support forums. I would think it should work.
Run memtest86+ on each stick alone to verify that they are all good.

Already been to corsair forums, was out of luck though. They thought I should contact gigabyte and the gigabyte support replied back like 3 weeks later with some standard reply.

Is your problem with 4 sticks vs. two?
I have trouble running 8gb at anything better than stock.

If each stick tests out ok, individually, then put a known good stick in each mobo slot to test. It is possible you have a bad memory slot.

Is there a bios update for the mobo that might address the issue?
