hii alll, i formatted my partition D instead of C and then install a new winndows on formatted D :(
i want to restore my partition D
because it contains my work :(

I tried Data Recovery but it didn't recover the partition where it is installed.
Any help is appreciated, please it is urgent.

overwriting data is basically the "sure way" of making things unrecoverable. And overwriting data is what you did.

How big was your D: partition? Windows XP takes up about 2-3 GB when it's first installed.
